I think I'm like a year late on this song but today was the first day I'd ever heard it. What a great song. What a happy chick. Rainbows and moonbeams and unicorns and pretty pastures and wheat fields. She brings them all.
If forced to choose between her and everyone's most beautiful dame, Amy Winehouse, I'd have to say my choice would be...I don't know. I just........mmmmmmmmmmm.

This is all that's wrong with the music industry. Not that she's not talented - middle school talent show talented - but this is the crap that gets played on my radio when I am trying to fine ONE, just ONE song to keep me from road-raging on the 1989 Saturn driver with no brake lights in front of me. This song actually causes road rage. I am sure of it.
The lyrics make me so angry -
It starts in my toes
make me crinkle my nose
where ever it goes
i always know
that you make me smile
please stay for a while now
just take your time
where ever you go
Maybe she also writes for The Economist on the side and this is just something to show her lighter side.
Road Rage? Attacking young hotties for the lyrics to a song called Bubbly? What did you expect, the song is called Bubbly! Wow Elayne did you strangle a kitty with your right hand while banging that comment out with your left? (Inuendo?) You really seemed a little peeved. I now see why you and the Dude are buds.
I miss the elayne that talked about her boobs and text flirted with me.
Seriously though, the Dude needs to stop falling in love with shitty over played ballads that are way past their prime when he finds them. I know you do not live in the country right now Dude but it really shows every time you post something like this.
Have you found Apologize by Timberland with OneRebuplic yet? That should make it to your gyms tired play list some time in June. How about all of the shitty solo stuff Fergie has been pumping out lately? No Clumsy or Big Girls Don’t Cry at the gym yet?
Did you know the name of that song you posted is Bubbly? Bubbly Dude! WTF happened to you Dude, you used to be a man, why are you such a pussy now?
The Dude makes no apologies for his crushes. He's never heard of this chick and this song takes anger away from him. Perhaps it gives the anger to Elayne but all the Dude knows is that it's gone. Crushes rarely last very long, but the Dude would appreciate it if he could indulge in this one for a few moments before going back to the fury that keeps him alive.
It is interesting that you used the word ‘crush’ you pussy. Check this out, “"Bubbly" isn't about anybody specific, says Caillat. "It's about the feelings you get when you have a crush on someone and they make you make smile all the time; they give you butterflies and you just adore everything they do." The young singer-songwriter added that the inspiration for the song came in the summer of 2006 when she was realizing that, "I didn't have a crush on anyone, and its always fun to have a crush. So I was just thinking about missing those feelings and wanting them."
Enjoy your crush you Bitch. If it makes you happier I am all for it.
For Dave: The Dude must point out that yesterday at the gym he also heard a new song called "Stop and Stare" by a band called OneRepublic. It came on right before Bubbly. It was very good.
The Dude had never heard it before but, as it turns out, you have referenced this band in your previous post as more old news.
The Dude will continue to have the crushes that he wishes to have, and will discover himself and his world in his own time. It's like an adolescent discovering sex, in the eyes of her parents: It may be a big yawn for them in their worn out, jaded lives, but to her it's all new and wondrous and filled with unicorns and rainbows. Bubbly kicks ass.
It's ironic that you post this today, Dude. Wooget also has a new crush. Her name is Erica Ellyson. I would post pictures here but (1) stupid blogspt won't let me and (2) you would then have to precede your site with an age disclaimer. At any rate, check out her appearance on Howard Stern from January 29th of this year. It's a performance that will go down in the anals (annals?) of history as one of the most beautiful events of our time.
