CNN.com and several other "reputable" sources are now confirming that Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer. However, today's reports say that Swayze is doing much better than was reported yesterday:
"Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far," Swayze's physician Dr. George Fisher said. "All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic."
The article goes on to say:
With the writer's strike over, the pilot episode of "The Beast," starring Swayze as an unorthodox FBI agent, is being considered to be turned into a series by the A&E cable network. If that happens, the "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" star hopes to continue to be part of the show, his representative Annett Wolf told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
Whatever man, we all said our goodbyes and now you want to come back? Nobody wanted you to die but nobody wants to watch "The Beast" either. Given the choice, I think you know where we all stand. So best of luck with the process but if you decide you want to go on TV again we're all rooting for death.
